"ETNA" Model |
The new series of continuous
casting furnaces ETNA replaces the previous version FCC/OPTI
and takes advantage from both experiences.
ETNA has been improved in
technical features and general aesthetics.
A new towing system in
aluminium is integrated in the melting chamber. Just by
removing the protection carter you approach to the graphite
equipment.
Time for intervention, like as
changing crucible/die, thermocouples, etc is strongly reduced.
Towing has been redesigned on
structure of previous one. It is cooled by water and works
with a step-by-step motor and an epicycloidal reducer. Cooling
socket has been also improved to get the best efficiency from
graphite equipment.
Heart of furnace is a brand new
medium frequency power system, entirely realized in our R&D

"VULCANO" Model |
|
The new series of continuous
casting furnaces VULCANO has similar characteristics of ETNA
but simpler graphic interface, a normal control panel
connected with an external pc.
VULCANO employs a silent medium
frequency power system for high speed melting (same of ETNA).
Models 03 and 05 are
table-furnaces. They can be completed with manual or pneumatic
towing, which is able to pull till 4 wires at same time with
diameter of 4-6 mm. Towing system is in aluminium, cooled by
water and it works with a step-by-step motor and an
epicycloidal reducer.
Models 07 and 12 are more
similar to ETNA: same M/F power system, smaller towing,
printer and wheels panel for pulling down metal. |
